Toy Story 3 Confirmed

As I've been saying for months, Toy Story 3 is happening and happening soon. A story has finally been reported elsewhere.

If you go to here, you can see a story on Comingsoon.net about whats going on.

What I can add to this is that they are still hard at work getting a director and producer signed. It will be happening any day now. Stay tuned.

I don't know if you've read this but attached is a link and I wouldn't mind hearing your opinion...

Apparently the eight major Hollywood studios are suing Pixar Studios for (and I quote): "its consistent record of quality movies. The complaint alleges that with its sixth consecutive profitable and critically acclaimed film in “The Incredibles,” Pixar is overturning a decades-long public relations campaign waged by Hollywood studios to convince the public that it’s impossible to consistently make high quality films."

It goes on to saying that they should "option the rights to 38 scripts and books it has no intention of turning into films, and immediately greenlight sequels to “Toy Story” and “Finding Nemo” with $100 million-plus budgets and hire directors whose only experience is in music videos to oversee them."

Can they really do this? It seems that Pixar spends the time on the quality of its movies (script-wise, visually, effects-wise etc...) and is that something that companies should be complaining about? I don't know, I just find it another example of North America suing for the sake of suing - something that you see all too often (example: overweight people suing McDonalds and Burger King)... this should be a positive reason to pressure other companies into putting all they have into their own movies - to only release movies that you back up fully and completely be enthusiastic with everything that's gone into them - not "it's summer, and we need a movie, Bennifer is hot - let's make Gigli"

Umm, that's a spoof.

BTW, Staloren, have you heard about Puss In Boots getting his own movie?

I have heard about that. I cannot say for sure, but I think this Puss N Boots movie will be the project that DreamWorks outsources to China or India.
