Vinton started the whole thing in Portland. if it wasn't for him there wouldn't be no animation there. And he was 10 times more creative than ted or phil put tohether. All laika did was finance (i wonder where they got their money?) the Moongirl and Caroline. The style of animation is "GAY" in the sense of lame and effeteAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8651933.post-3871113466242648332007-08-08T20:32:00.000-07:002007-08-08T20:32:00.000-07:00What &@#*&'n stupid name for a studio. What &@#*&'n stupid name for a studio.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8651933.post-41689578039659391232007-07-20T21:32:00.000-07:002007-07-20T21:32:00.000-07:00Laika is not even close to having 400 employees. Without the Knight's involvemnt, 400+ animators would not be working in Portland OR, with ambitions of becoming the next great studio. Why is this a bad thing? They are keeping people employed working on great animation. Our industry *needs* new involvement and new direction right now, and the Knights are doing there best to help Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8651933.post-79672626605303217072007-07-19T16:58:00.000-07:002007-07-19T16:58:00.000-07:00As an "insider" I can tell you that it is very unl...As an "insider" I can tell you that it is very unlikely there would be a Vinton studios around today if not for the Knight investment.
